Fourteen years ago, King Wangchuk was still a seventeen years old teenage. One day when he went out with his royal family members (Nobles), he met the seven years old Queen Pema, he loved her at the first sight. Just then, he kneelt down on one knee and proposed his love to her: "When you grow up, if i'm still single, and you are too still single, i'm willing to marry you. "
